Oh my lord in heaven could this girl exceed my expectations and will she lure me away from my beloved 1st Sybarite and online namesake Sage?
THE ANSWER TO THIS QUESTION is a TIE.
I am over the moon on getting Seville from a very kind surrogate seller who allowed me to do a 3 month payout. This is important to note the Sybarite community have been helpful, supportive, and have networked with other Doll communities.

Which for a 1st time or in my case switching into a brand new doll line collector is PRICELESS. Ask and sometimes you receive is what I have observed.

Having experienced some elitist attitudes and "busy bodied" individuals at the start of my adventure selling my Barbie collection it was a breath of fresh air and relief meeting the Sybarite collectors.

Collecting dolls is the common thread the community all shares but for some it is treating their dolls as better than others which frankly I find sad. This quality some disguise as passion is and can come across cold and cruel.

I don't want to end this post on something negative when Seville just arrived, however it is a prime example at how meeting online or joining a club/group sharing your interests.

16inch dolls or BJD's all fit within the Sybarite guidelines and is a good place to start. It was joining clubs like this last year which got me to where I am today collecting Sybarites.

I asked for a payment plan to adopt Seville from 2 prior collectors who kindly declined. Understanding and patient my love for this doll and ownership has become a reality.
