Welcome to my first post on what I hope will be a fun blog/place to meet other Sybarite/Doll Collectors
It has been 9 months since I purchased and actually held and saw these beautiful dolls. Sage was the cherry breaker and I have had more fun hunting down and most of all still SHOPPING for "?" and the 6 sisters whom soon followed. ? being any and all girls after my final payment for Seville. I also own The Traveler Inoquii who may not have been the most popular a few years ago, but sure is now with the Lady GaGa revolution.Sage: The hypnotic gaze of this born to be Red Head.
Inque (1st edition): Her beautiful mocha coloring and sexy gaze.
Play: A bit of luck and some begging nabbed me this Gen III.
Voltaire: Androgynous and my first Gen II fully clothed purchase.
Couture Savage: Hard to find and coveted for those not repainted.
Trapeze: The ultimate Fashion Model Muse hardly Amy Winehouse.
Seville: Not in my possession yet being paid off for a summer meet up.
The Traveler: 14 inches of Porcelain perfection. Inoquii doll
With my line-up of Sybarites finally typed in order staring back at me I must say it is a bit overwhelming and very exciting at the same time.
My adrenaline peaks up to a height of ecstasy by just looking at their boxes. BOXES? Yes, boxes. I was able to finance this expensive hobby by selling my HUGE Barbie NRFB doll collection on Ebay and Doll boards alike. As much as I adore my new gorgeous roomies I must admit I am afraid of them as well. Actually intimidated is closer to how I truly feel.
Having held my girls outside of their boxes less than 10 times with Play being a slight exception I decided to create and document my dolls and the journey each will take me on.
Be it with Photography, Creativity, and/or Biography. Having had an online presence for almost 17 years with blogs, profiles, and owning my own dot com. which soon will be revised to showcase this project.
In closing, it is important to clarify my ADHD along with other health issues I struggle with hope to keep this blog along with my Doll collector FaceBook page updated and most of all interesting.
PROCRASTINATION is a habit I have struggled with in starting too many projects never to see consistency or completion. My intentions come from a good place, however if you are reading this and realize you have some of the same issues described from The dolls to completing or updating online blogs, Twitter, to FaceBook then we will become fast friends.
What better way to get things started than to photograph the many NRFB accessories ready to be deboxed and played with the first time.
